If you can't enjoy a beautiful pour of Alectrona, our Decaf Royale is a pretty good substitute. The crema is different from that of our espresso, but that's only because our decaf is Swiss Water Processed, which removes some of the oils along with the decaf. Other decaffeinated coffees are processed chemically, and we have avoided that by choosing Swiss Water Processing. Decaf Royale also makes a pretty mean drip.

Primo coffee without the buzz

I like my coffee with all of its attendant side effects. Dark, rich and complex, Maniac has great offerings. My spouse loves coffee, but without caffeine effects in her life. Even very good grocery store decafs seem dry and acid to me, but Maniac decaf stands above. To me, this Blend is interchangeable with Maniacs best, sans jitters. We're sold, frequently, and happily!

Always impeccable

Maniac Roasting creates fine blends with a refined eye toward each origin, and single origins that highlight the character of each country's crop. Decaf Royale is a great example, a delightful coffee without the jitters.

Best decaf ever

I’m a decaf drinker yet still love a good rich cup of joe - the kind that leaves a delicious after taste, like good chocolate. I would find it occasionally but then the beans wouldn’t be consistent. I had a decaf cappuccino at the Black Drop and fell in love with Decaf Royale so had to buy some and I’ve been buying it ever since. It’s consistently great and I love that it’s roasted locally.
